Abolins Announces A Series of Photography Classes Taught By Professionals18 October 2005
Abolins Inc. had a productive Canon Digital Camera Class with an exceptional turn-out. The event was held on October 12th from 6-8pm the Abolins store location in Tacoma. Class instructors were Nikon Representative Rose Whitaker and Abolins salesman and professional photographer Ray Jeanotte. Beginners, intermediates and advanced photographers were all welcome to join. The class focused on tips and tricks for the Nikon D50 and D70 series digital cameras. The only prerequisite for the class was to have purchased the camera from Abolins store.

Both Nikon series are digital cameras that are lightweight, compact and easy to use. Each can be used in an array of versatile situations and has easy accessible controls for any camera user. There are 7 Digital Vari-Programs such as auto, portrait, landscape, child, close-up, sports, or night portrait in both products.
The D50 offers very pleasing images with the AF-S 18-55mm f/3 5-5.6G ED Nikkor zoom lens. This camera would be most appealing to those who want to see the picture in the LCD screen and then immediately print it. With this camera, the post processing software needed for computer cropping or correct images is eliminated.
The D70 also offers images pleasing to the eye; however some post processing with computer software is needed to perfect each picture. For advanced amateurs and those with a creative side, this camera would be most enjoyed. This camera’s lens is the AF-S DX 18-70mm f/3 5-5.6G IF-ED Nikkor zoom.
