Abolins Inc., an Audio-Visual and general electronics retailer located in Tacoma, Washington recently held free Digital Camera Classes which saw a sizeable turnout from the local community. Three weekend events were held during the month of October, and instructors included Nikon Representative Rose Whitaker and Abolins salesman and renown professional photographer Ray Jeanotte. As the classes were designed to offer something for everyone, beginners, intermediates and advanced photographers were all encouraged and welcome to join. AT times the class focused on tips and tricks for the Nikon D50 and D70 series digital cameras, but encompassed many other fundamentals of photography. The only prerequisite for the class was that the participant had previously purchased a camera from the Tacoma Abolins store location.

The D70 offers the same level of quality and resolution, however it also includes some post-processing capabilities as it is included with a suite of image editing and enhancement software. This model is best suited to those with a creative side wishing to edit and optimize their photos after they are taken. This camera features an AF-S DX 18-70mm f/3 5-5.6G IF-ED Nikkor zoom lens.
