Class Takes You From Digital Camera To Print17 October 2004
The Pasco Arts Council, 5344 Moog Road, will offer a digital photography class beginning Tuesday. The six-week class will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Cost is $48 for council members and $60 for nonmembers.
This class will cover the use of a digital camera and the transfer of digital photo files to a computer. Participants will learn how to use computer software to process, correct and enhance photos, and learn how to obtain the best prints possible.
Instructors Dick Barker and John Stalter will cover all aspects of the process from digital camera to the final print.
Barker is a retired firefighter and emergency medical technician who worked at Ritz Camera in Largo and Gulf View Square mall. He has taught other photography classes at the Pasco Arts Council.
Stalter owns New Age Photography in Clearwater. He was the manager of Ritz Camera at Gulf View Square and has a degree in computer science.
