CTI Digital IR Device Placements

7 March 2006

Computerized Thermal Imaging, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: COIB) today announced recent sales and lease agreements for placement of CTI medical equipment.

Tampa Bay Orthopedic Specialists (TBOS) of Tampa, FL has contracted with CTI for installation and use of a CTI imaging suite consisting of one Thermal Imaging Processor (TIP) and two Photonic Stimulators (PS). TBOS is one of the largest orthopedic groups in central Florida and is a leading orthopedic surgical and physical therapy facility, specializing in surgical treatment of hand, upper extremity, foot and ankle, and repetitive use injuries. TBOS intends to leverage CTI's FDA-approved imaging suite by introducing physiological screening and treatment modalities in both their surgical and physical therapy units. Dr. Richard Herrick of TBOS, a world-renowned hand surgeon, has been instrumental in introducing CTI products into the clinic. Installation and training for physicians and staff is scheduled to commence prior to March 15, 2006.

CTI also announced a contract to sell one imaging suite consisting of one Thermal Imaging Processor (TIP) and two Photonic Stimulators (PS) to the Covina Wellness Center (CWC) in West Covina, CA. The CWC is a new facility specializing in physical therapy and women's health. CTI TIP screening for breast cancer will be one of the new services offered in the clinic. Installation and training for physicians and staff by CTI is scheduled to commence prior to the end of March 2006. The clinic plans to open for patients in early April of 2006.

R.V. Secord, CEO of CTI, commented on the developments, "As forecast, CTI began execution of its redirection efforts at the start of 2006 and is focused on strengthening new sales and aftermarket support pipelines. This is possible because the CTI infrared system continues to perform favorably relative to other commercially available IR systems."
