FLIR Systems, Inc (NASDAQ: FLIR), todayannounced the introduction of its new InfraCAM® low cost thermal imagingcamera. InfraCAM is the lowest price full function thermography cameraever offered by FLIR, and is targeted at the emerging market for low cost,high performance thermal imaging cameras for commercial applications suchas building inspection and electrical contracting. InfraCAM is beingoffered at a suggested retail price of $6,750 in the United States, andbelow EUR 6,000 internationally. InfraCAM is targeted at emerging marketsfor thermography such as building inspectors and electrical contractors andis expected to stimulate significant market demand. All InfraCAM unitsworldwide will use uncooled infrared detectors designed and produced atFLIR's Santa Barbara facility. The launch is being accompanied by thedelivery of several hundred systems to distributors worldwide, and aworldwide marketing and communication campaign.

FLIR also announced the introduction of its new ThermoVision E-Series®product line, incorporating higher resolution sensor arrays thatsubstantially improve imaging performance. The new cameras have four timesthe resolution of most previous E-Series cameras. The new E-Seriesproducts represent an attractive alternative for customers with higherperformance requirements.
