Media Invitation/Photo Opportunity - Learn to tell stories with photographs at Kodak Canada's first-event

5 August 2005

Don't know what to do with all the digital photos stored on your computer or old prints stuffed in boxes or hidden away in closets? Kodak Canada invites you to a scrapbook session exclusively for media. Learn tips and tricks on how to showcase and tell stories with your photos using scrapbooking - one of the fastest growing hobbies in Canada today.

WHEN: Thursday, August 11, 2005
1:30 - 3:30 pm

WHERE: Real Canadian Superstore, Community Room (1st Floor)
825 Don Mills Road (Eglinton & Don Mills)

A professional scrapbooker will be on hand to share facts and anecdotes about scrapbooking in Canada and reveal tricks of the trade, including the basic tools and techniques needed to create your own scrapbook. You'll be cropping and creating great memories before the session is over.

Designed to be fun and interactive, there are three ways to participate in Kodak Canada's scrapbooking session. Feel free to choose one or all of the options below:

1. Borrow a Kodak EasyShare digital camera prior to the scrapbooking
event to take photos you would like to use during the scrapbooking
session. Then, bring the digital camera to the session and print your
photos on Kodak EasyShare printer docks.

2. Look through family albums and bring old and worn photos that you
would like to preserve for future generations. Bring them to the
session where you can use the Kodak Picture Maker to scan the photos
and print new copies.

3. Take photos during the session at one of the three interactive
stations that will be set up focusing on weddings, baby showers and
travel. Kodak EasyShare digital cameras and printer docks will be
available at each station so you can take and print photos showcasing
the different events.

A scrapbooking starter kit will be provided at the beginning of the session! Snacks and refreshments will be served.
