Dennis Corey, Operations Manager for Molecular Imaging Products Company (MIP), today announced the signing of a distribution agreement with Olympus Corporation. MIP is a leading manufacturer and distributor of small animal inhalant anesthesia equipment and accessories to the research, veterinary and molecular imaging communities. MIP distributes these products through its Summit Anesthesia Solutions division.

The agreement calls for Olympus's Japan operations to purchase MIP's high-quality anesthesia systems for use in Olympus's in vivo imaging system (IV100/ OV100). "We are very excited about this relationship," stated Mr. Corey. "Olympus is known for their attention to detail and high-quality products. We are honored to have them as a distribution partner," said Mr. Corey. "Our emphasis on expanding our sales force and marketing efforts continue to provide recognition for our products and we expect to announce additional distribution agreements soon," Mr. Corey continued.

Dr. Kiyotsugu Kojima, who is a leader of in vivo imaging system development in Olympus, said: "Now we are able to provide our IV100 and OV100 customers with the anesthesia system from the leading company MIP, so we believe our customers can commence their experiments smoothly using the instrumentation of MIP!"
