A revolutionary hand-held ball-finding device, which can locate 'lost golf balls from 35 feet away, has been launched in the UK.
The electronic BallFinder SCOUT is endorsed by six-time Major winner Nick Faldo and finds
balls hidden deep in rough if just three dimples are showing.It marks an astonishing breakthrough in digital imaging and tracking technology, using a video-based camera which can search up to 600 square feet in one second or almost 1/7 of an acre in 10 seconds.
Each of two million pixels is scanned in nanoseconds and analysed pixel by pixel, and once a ball is found the device vibrates and reveals its location on a screen.
