TELUS today announced the expansion of its Wireless High Speed service to Ontario cottage country, offering consumer and business clients mobile access to the Internet, e-mail and other multimedia applications at broadband speeds similar to desktop internet access at home. "TELUS is excited to offer Wireless High Speed in Ontario's favourite year-round vacation destination," said Robert Blumenthal, TELUS senior vice president of Products and Services. "With the broadband speed of our Wireless High Speed service and the newest portable computing and entertainment devices, local residents and the millions of tourists that visit the Muskoka and Lake Simcoe areas can now enjoy the fastest mobile data access speeds available in Canada."
