Kopin will supply Pelco with the CyberDisplay(R) 180K color-filter microdisplay as well as driver IC chip and interface electronics for use in Pelco's new CST150 camera setup tool.

The compact CST150 is a handheld viewing device that plugs into any Pelco 5100 series camera. It enables technicians to align, focus and configure the cameras without occupying assistants or carrying a cumbersome portable monitor to display the video output. Kopin's high-resolution integrated microdisplay provides a crisp, clear image that enables technicians to finely focus the camera on the surveillance target and easily execute the programmable setup. As a result, Pelco customers can change and refine their camera surveillance on the fly, improving security while reducing technician time and labor.

In addition to displaying standard text and graphics, the display operates at traditional video speeds and consumes less than 15 milliwatts of power. The high-resolution, power-efficient CyberDisplay 180K is ideal for portable consumer and industrial applications, including digital still camera and camcorder viewfinders, and personal video eyewear.
